Depression is a major public health problem.
Current therapies are overall inadequate and we
need options when all other things fail. I feel
that this needs to be funded. Perhaps the
criteria for patient selection needs to be
tightened but there are lots of suffering people
out there and if we're selecting the worst of the
worst I believe it can prove cost effective.
